I enjoyed fantastic meals at the hotel's restaurant, and the breakfast portions were just right. The complimentary tea and coffee were a lovely touch. However, the room could be noisy at times. I'd definitely come back!

The room was cozy, but noise from the street made it hard to sleep.

The staff provided great suggestions for local attractions.
The soundproofing was very poor inside the hotel. I heard everything from other guests and the creaky stairs were especially disruptive. I found the area less safe to walk around after dark, which made exploring less enjoyable. The room was lacking in comfort, feeling too bright at night and having minimal amenities to make the stay cozy.

Chakana Hotel Boutique Centro impressed me with its authenticity and charm. I stayed in a beautifully decorated Double Room. The atmosphere felt very inviting and connected to the local culture. The hot breakfast featured fresh and tasty dishes that set the right tone for the day. I appreciated the free coffee and coca tea available, which added a nice touch. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They provided great suggestions for local attractions and were prompt with taxi arrangements. However, I found the room a bit bright at night, and I prefer to sleep in darker conditions. An eye mask solved the issue, but it would be nice to have heavier curtains. Overall, the cleanliness and Andean décor made my stay pleasant, and I felt safe exploring the area around the hotel.

Unfortunately, my room was quite bright at night, making it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep without an eye mask.

The hotel was a fantastic choice for my large family, including the grandkids. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the warm, welcoming vibe from the staff. Auki’s thoughtful gesture of packing us breakfast for our early departure was particularly memorable!
My wife says that a play area for kids would be great.

The manager was incredibly accommodating, arranging early breakfasts for my tours and providing a detailed map of the city that highlighted local attractions. Perfect location for exploring!
The hot water in the shower was amazing, and I loved being so close to the Basilica and the old town—just a quick walk. Breakfast was tasty, but the room could use some more privacy since I heard some noise from outside. Still, the rich Ecuadorian crafts around the hotel made it feel cozy.
